With Suzanne You’re Homeward Bound!
You will never find me without a book, and sometimes 2 or 3, at arms reach. When I am not at home reading, cooking or listening to KFOG, I am out and about in our wonderful city. Walnut Creek combines the serenity of the country with the edgy urban experience, reminiscent of my hometown, Brooklyn. When we moved to Walnut Creek 10 years ago, after living in Oakland for 20 years, our goal was to try every restaurant in town. Well, we have succeeded (the proof is in our expanded waistlines), and we are now working our way through Lafayette. I am a Jeopardy contender, a Trivia night team member and a daily crossword puzzler. I have a passion for movies, theatre, ballet, baseball games and love to dance to live music, at small local clubs or large arenas.
As a Walnut Creek Arts Commissioner I approve large public arts projects, oversee the Lesher Center for the Performing Arts, consult with the Bedford Gallery about current and future shows, and volunteer with the Civic Arts Ed Youth and Teen Theatre. My son is a student at Los Lomas High School, my husband is a history instructor at DVC and I have enjoyed a full time career in real estate since 1975.
